KingsMill Model Boat Club

Has been running for 2 years now and we are improving every year with new events for members and our open day is getting better and better have a look at the News & Events page to see what is going on this year. !

We sail our boats on Tuesday/Thursdays/Saturdays/ from 12noon onwards     we use Sail / Battery powered boats and steam powered boats with

(boiler certificate)

 We are based  at KingsMill reservoir in Mansfield it is about 3 acres  (see photo gallery) but were we sail we have two jetty's that we sail between them and we put a buoy line across them so if a boat has a problem it is easy to recover but we do have a rowing boat for the sail powered boats to

We do Tug Towing and Steering courses when possible so there is always some thing to sail around or tow with the tug tow        

(sorry no I.C or ultra fast speed boats)
